The Project for Active Cluster Engagement began in 2017 with an aim to look at a cluster* as a distributed school. By doing this, we create a platform for teachers to share resources, competencies and work collaboratively for the improvement of all schools in a cluster.
* Education clusters are administrative units typically consisting of 10-15 schools.

Impact
Forming “Jeevadhare”
Jeevadhare is a voluntary cluster improvement committee formed by local stakeholders – Cluster Resource Person (CRP), school heads, teachers, SDMC (School Development & Monitoring Committee) members etc. It meets every month to work on projects that will contribute to improving schools in the cluster.

Creating vibrant Cluster Resource Centres
CRCs are spaces where teachers from all schools in a cluster can share and access TLMs while also conducting training and meetings in the cluster. These CRCs are often used as storerooms. Setting up these centers is integral to our cluster approach.
Successful Enrolment Drive in Dommasandra Cluster
Schools across the Dommasandra cluster got together to conduct an Enrolment Drive which yielded great results. The idea of the drive originated from the Jeevadhare committee, planned by the community and executed by Mantra.
